Our open days offer you the perfect opportunity to find out all you need to know about the University of Bristol. To attend an open day you will need to book a place using our online booking form. Booking for the open day on 13 September will be available from 9 am on 23 July 2014. All open days start at 9.30 am and run until 4 pm.
To get the most out of your day we advise you to plan your day in advance: our Day planner (PDF, 58kB) will help you do that.
Throughout the day, the University's academic schools will host talks on the subjects you can study at Bristol. Some will include information on course content and entry requirements, others will be taster lectures.
You can book up to three subject talks to help you decide which course is right for you. Places are limited and you must book in advance.
In addition to the subject talks, you can visit displays where you can meet staff and pick up course leaflets. Access to all subject displays is included in your open day booking.
Our welcome talks give you the opportunity to find out about the non-academic aspects of university life. These talks must be booked in advance.
As part of the open day, you will have the chance to look around our exhibition. This is a one-stop-shop where you can pick up information about courses; find out about student support services; talk to staff about applying for a place at the University; and speak to funding advisers and accommodation staff.
You can find out what living in halls is like by visiting some of our residences at Stoke Bishop and in the city centre. Travel times and shuttle bus information is on our visits to accommodation page.
You can also speak to accommodation staff at our exhibition.
The study centre will be open all day (entry via the side entrance of Senate House). IT Services staff will be available to answer questions about IT facilities, services and support for students including:
