Health and Social Care Open Evening at University of Greenwich

Our open evenings are a great way for you to discover what the School of Health & Social Care has to offer. Locations: David Fussey Building, Southwood Site, Avery Hill Campus, SE9 2UG
Nelson Building, Medway Campus, ME4 4TB.

Avery Hill Campus evenings

Events will include:

  • Information about our programmes in: Pre-registration Nursing (Adult, Child, Learning Disability and Mental Health) and Postgraduate Nursing (Adult, Child and Mental Health); Specialist Community Public Health Nursing (Health Visiting and School Nursing) and District Nursing; Health and Well-Being; Midwifery; Paramedic Science; Psychology; Psychology and Counselling; Public Health; Social Work and Social Care
  • Advice on your application
  • Welcome presentations will be held at approx. 4.05pm, 5.05pm and 6.05pm
  • Interview workshops for midwifery, nursing and paramedic science students take place at approx. 4.20pm, 5.20pm and 6.20pm
  • Adult nursing presentations throughout the evening
  • Psychology presentation - time tbc
  • Social work presentation - time tbc
  • Tours of the campus and accommodation if available
  • Partners, parents and friends are welcome to attend.

Medway Campus evenings

Events will include:

  • Information about our programmes in: Adult Nursing; Paramedic Science; and Speech and Language Therapy (postgraduate entry only)
  • Advice on your applications
  • Partners, parents and friends are welcome to attend.

Parking

Avery Hill Campus

Please note that parking charges apply from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. Tickets can be purchased from pay-and-display machines located in the car park.

Medway Campus

When arriving by car please stop at the gatehouse (located at the entrance to the campus) as you require permission to enter the site. Please note that parking charges apply from Monday to Friday between 9am and 5pm. Tickets can be purchased from pay-and-display machines located on campus.

Disabled parking

Parking is automatically available to blue badge holders. Tickets can be purchased from pay-and-display machines located on campus.

University Open Days

Regular university wide Open Days and are held throughout the year. These events run activities and talks across each campus and are a good way to see what the university has to offer.

During these days lecturers from the School of Health & Social Care will also present at the Avery Hill Campus and Medway Campus, and will be on-hand to give you advice and answer your questions.
