University of Huddersfield - Undergraduate Open Days

Country / City: Huddersfield

Although you can find lots of information about the University of Huddersfield on our website, there is nothing quite like a visit to the campus to get a feel for what life at university is really like.

It's a great chance to look at the facilities, talk to staff and current students from the course you are interested in and find out about those key things that matter to both you and your parents such as finance, accommodation and student support. It is also the best way to find out why the University was awarded the Times Higher Education University of the Year award!

What happens on an Open Day? ‌

It's your Open Day so make sure you enjoy yourself and ask lots of questions! Once you arrive on campus, you will be welcomed by staff and students who will let you know what is going on throughout the day. Whether it's a welcome talk with our Deputy Vice Chancellor, visits to subject area talks or just a wander around campus to get a feel for the place, you are free to go wherever you like. We have friendly student ambassadors across campus (look out for them in their bright orange t-shirts) who can point you in the right direction, offer you advice and guidance about a particular course or the nightlife in the town. Below is a sample of some of the things that take place on the day and you can download a programme for more detailed information.
